Another Purse for Another Sister! :)

I picked out this fabric a while back, thinking I'd use it for something for me or my middle sister...or both. Well, this adorable clutch pattern I found at Skip to my Lou was perfect for my sister.  I added a strap to the side so she can carry it solo with her phone and wallet...or use it as a wallet in her purse! :)  I think the polka dots are cute too.  The instructions at Skip to my Lou Pleated Pouch Tutorial  were amazing!  She did a FANTASTIC JOB explaining everything!  Absolutely the easiest zipper I've installed in my life! :)

1/8/2024 Update! I wrote this post 12 years ago!! Every spring and every January, my blog (that I don't update nearly often enough!) gets a lot of attention on this post about a simple cleaning plan! That makes a lot of sense though, right? That said, I noticed while doing laundry this week that it's time to buy some fresh microfiber towels for us to use for wiping down surfaces. While I'm shopping, I'm going to make a list here of some of our go-to cleaning supplies that you can find online. Microfiber Cleaning Cloths  - I use these for just about everything. I've had more and less expensive ones over the years, but I find as long as I wash them separate from any lint towels, they hold up well for a few years. Glass Spray Bottles  - I have one (and need more!). I like to dilute a little castile soap or dish soap in one for the boys to help clean surfaces. Currently, I have homemade pine cleaner in mine. My Little Kitchen

Today, {Love Stitched} is having a kitchen feature (and a giveaway!) I know I may have one of the smallest kitchens in the Linky party, but will say…I’ve had smaller! :) Well, here goes! This is my entire kitchen! The lovely laminate flooring was laid by my hubby.  It’s the kind that sticks to itself and not the floor, so essentially, it’s a custom made wooden rug to cover the tiles underneath. That’s not a dishwasher behind the black curtain (that just made me think of the Wizard of Oz, by the way), it’s just a curtain I made to hide our cleaning supplies.  I have a table too, but it really sits in the “den” or “dining area” whichever you want to call it! :) Here are some close-ups… The left side of the kitchen…What do you think about that loooooong cabinet on the left?
